- 1/2 Cup chopped almonds (pre-soaked)
- 1/2 Cup macadamia nuts
- 1 Cup chopped figs
- 10 Chopped medjool dates
- 2 Tbsp cacao nibs
- 2 Tbsp macadamia nut butter
- 1 Scoop Nuzest Good Green Stuff
- 1 Cup unsweetened coconut flakes
- 3 Tbsp coconut oil
- 1 Vanilla bean pod
Place all ingredients into your food processor, chopped until a dough like consistency.
With this recipe, we definitely want to add the creamy texture of macadamia nuts along with the Macadamia butter, these beautiful creamy flavours, balance deliciously with the GGS, there is of course activated almonds added to this recipe, not only for that subtle sweet taste, but to give it that crispy crunch texture, activated almonds vs non activated almonds, definitely makes a difference in taste.
Then either roll them into balls, or use your favourite shaped BPA silicone free mold.
Once placed in the mold freeze for 1 hours, thereafter remove, sprinkle a very little Good Green Stuff sparingly over them as a topping.
Optional to also sprinkle some hemp seeds.
Keep in the fridge for another 1 hour then enjoy.
Keeps for 2 weeks in the freezer.
