I was fortunate to be a Nuzest challenge winner chosen to be a part of the Great Nuzest Challenge. The challenge involved an 8 day trip to Beijing to walk the Great Wall of China and explore iconic sites around the city. As a Nuzest challenge winner is was able to take a friend and join other Nuzest winners from around the world and the Kiss Goodbye to MS team. Together we to raised money for vital research into the prevention, better treatments and a cure for Multiple Sclerosis. In the training for the Great Nuzest Challenge, I used the Clean Lean Protein to help with recovery. Being a matcha fanatic I really enjoyed the Vanilla Matcha functional flavour; which provides extra nutrition and cognitive benefits. During the travel in China, I used Nuzest Good Green Stuff on days that I needed a boost of vitamins and minerals. The Nuzest products are perfect for travel, with the individual sachets allowing for ease of use and have good digestibility. It was a real privilege to represent Nuzest NZ and complete the Great Wall of China Challenge. This trip was a wonderful experience and was made very special with the great team who completed the trek. Big thanks to Nuzest for giving me this opportunity.
I have been using Nuzest products for one year and they are now a part of my regular health and fitness regime. My morning ritual is Good Green Stuff mixed with coconut water. It gives me the energy and kick start I need to get me going in the morning. Without this boost my focus can tend to waiver especially when it comes to my morning training. When I am sick I will double the dose of the Good Green Stuff as I swear it helps combat lingering symptoms of cold and flu. Post workout I will usually make a Clean Lean Protein shake, Wild Strawberry is my favourite and at night, when I get my usual sweet cravings, I will often add coconut water to either Wild Strawberry or Smooth Vanilla Clean Lean Protein. So delicious and satisfying. Both products are great for recovery especially during competition.
I've been taking some form of powdered veggie supplement for years now. The idea of a multi-vitamin to ensure optimal health always seemed like a good idea in theory, but I could never quite grasp how a company could squeeze so many things into a little brown pill and have them all interact naturally in my body the way they were supposed to. Even though most veggie powders tasted like ground up grass clippings, I gagged them down every day in order to get more of a real and less processed serving of healthy micronutrients. Luckily for me the team at Nuzest have now come up with a product: Good Green Stuff that not only has the best quality ingredients, but one that tastes amazing as well. I chuck it in smoothies, or it's just fine on its own.
