Very Berry Muesli

Dairy Free Gluten Free Vegan

I’m also a big fan of porridge this time of year but don’t always want the heavy feeling that follows a big bowl of oats. This recipe, however, gently heated is an energizing breakfast while the Clean Lean Protein adds the goodness I need to keep me satiated for longer.  Berries are a powerful source of antioxidants and though they are not in season I always keep some in the freezer for my breakfast.

Ingredients

2 tablespoon chia seeds 

2 tablespoon LSA 

2 tablespoon sunflower Seeds 

2 tablespoon chopped nuts of choice 

1 cup milk of choice 

1 teaspoon cinnamon 

1 cup berries (defrost overnight, if frozen)

1 scoop of Smooth Vanilla Clean Lean Protein

Method

The night before, mix the chia seeds, LSA, sunflower seeds, cinnamon and chopped nuts of choice together with the milk and allow to sit overnight in the fridge.

In the morning, gently warm the mixture in a small pot over medium heat, stirring as you go. Gently add in the protein powder and more liquid if need-be. Place the warmed mixture into a bowl and top with berries and a couple tablespoons of yoghurt if you'd like.
