Muscle Recovery Smoothie
Recover from a tough workout with this muscle loving smoothie. Made with Clean Lean Protein Rich Chocolate.
Ingredients
1 cup Blueberries
300ml Oat Milk (or milk of choice)
1 Tbsp Nut Butter
2 tsp Chia Seeds
2 tsp Flaxseeds
2 tsp Raw Cacao Powder
1 tsp Cacoa Nibs
Magnesium Powder
1 Banana
1 serve Rich Chocolate Clean Lean Protein (2x Scoops)
You’ve been to the gym and you’ve worked hard. This smoothie can help you recover and reap the rewards of all your hard work.
We often neglect rest, recovery and nutrition; and focus on the workout. These are as important as the hard work you do in the gym! Your body needs time to repair. Your body also need nutrients to repair. This smoothie is packed full of goodies to help you do just that. It is loaded with quality protein to help build and repair muscle tissue; magnesium to help your muscles release tension and relax; chia seeds and flaxseeds containing omega 3 fatty acids that can help modulate inflammation and help reduce muscle soreness; blueberries which have been shown to improve the rate of muscle recovery; and bananas that can help replenish potassium levels and glycogen levels which get used up during your workout.
This smoothie is rich and chocolatey, you might not have guessed that it’s this good for you!

Method
Add all the ingredients to the blender and blend well. The cacoa nibs will leave a bit of a texture- if you want it smooth, blend it a little longer. Pour the smoothie and Enjoy!
