Iron Boost Smoothie

Dairy Free Gluten Free Nut Free Vegan
Boost your iron, daily, with this smoothie. Made with Rich Chocolate Clean Lean Protein.

Ingredients

250ml Rice Milk (or other milk of choice)

1 Serve Rich Chocolate Clean Lean Protein 

2 tsp Beetroot Powder

1 tsp Cocoa

1 Handful Spinach

50g Dried Apricots

1 Tbsp Molasses

1 Tbsp Basil Seeds

4-5 Blocks of Ice

Are you low in iron? The best place to get iron from is your diet.

If you are prone to having low iron, this smoothie could be a great addition to your diet and something you can consume on a regular basis.

Did you know that Clean Lean Protein contains iron? In fact it has 15mg of naturally occurring iron per 100g- that means around 3-4g per serve! Add the dried apricots, beetroot, spinach, molasses, cocoa and basil seeds; and this smoothie becomes a fantastic plant based, gentle on the digestive system, iron rich, nourishing infusion.

Method

Add all the ingredients, except the basil seeds, to the blender and blend well. 

Give it more time to blend so that the apricots are thoroughly blitzed and your smoothie is nice and smooth. 

Add the basil seeds to a glass, pour the smoothie on top and stir. 

Enjoy!
