Chocolate Zoats

Dairy Free Vegan
A breakfast wake-up call. Made with Good Green Vitality.



1/3 cup rolled oats
1/2 small zucchini (courgette), finely grated
1 cup water or milk
1/2 Tbsp maple syrup
1/2 Tbsp cacao powder
1/2 Tbsp Good Green Vitality
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp cinnamon
 Pinch of salt

To top

Fresh or frozen berries
Coconut yogurt
Toasted hazelnuts

If you haven't heard of zoats before, they are oats, but with grated zucchini. It might seem crazy, but it's actually delicious and adds so many more nutrients to the already healthy breakfast. This recipe also includes Good Green Vitality for an extra morning wake-up. For extra protein, you could also try adding some Rich Chocolate Clean Lean Protein.

Add all ingredients for the zoats, except the Good Green Vitality, into a small saucepan. Bring to a soft boil, then reduce to a gentle simmer for 5 minutes or until most of the liquid has been absorbed by the oats. Stir in the Good Green Vitality.

Remove from heat, pour into bowl and top with berries, coconut yogurt and hazelnuts.
