I learnt to sail while living in Samoa and have been fortunate enough to represent Samoa at a number of international events since. Earlier this year I competed at the ISAF Laser World Champs in Melbourne where I was successful in qualifying for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. I will be the first ever sailor to represent Samoa at the Olympics and I'm extremely proud and excited by the opportunity. By qualifying I hope to inspire young kids especially in Samoa that they too can do the same in whatever sport they play.
