NuZest launches Good Green Stuff multi-vitamin bar
NuZest has launched New Zealand’s first multi-vitamin and multi-mineral bar based on its top-selling superfood supplement Good Green Stuff. The “nutrition on the go” bar contains half a daily serve of GGS powder in a blend of dates, apricots, sunflower seeds and chia seeds. It provides a good portion of an adult’s daily vitamin and mineral requirements.
The GGS bar is suitable for school-age kids too, offering a great source of vitamins and minerals in a lunchbox-friendly package. This provides parents with a nutritionally-sound, convenient alternative to the muesli and fruit bars that often contain more fillers than functional food.
“Each bar supplies the same amount of carbs as an apple while delivering well over half of your daily nutrient requirements on average”, says nutritionist and naturopath Cliff Harvey. “Many of us may struggle to get all the vitamins and minerals we need on a daily basis, so NuZest has come up with an easy way to solve this problem.”
Good Green Stuff provides a platform for good nutrition and contains over 75 ingredients offering essential vitamins and minerals for good health. The superfood supplement is based on fruit, berries, vegetables, green algae and herbs. The bar is naturally sweetened with the dates and apricots which also add fibre, and a mango flavour.
“In essence, Good Green Stuff delivers a wide range of nutrients in a natural way that your body can easily absorb”, says Geoff Ashenden, director of the Vital Health Company, New Zealand master distributor of NuZest products. The new bars do not contain wheat, egg, dairy, corn, peanuts, added sugars, yeast, artificial sweeteners, colours or additives.
Good Green Stuff is made in Nelson to the Australian government’s Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) Standards – generally regarded as the highest level of quality control for natural health products anywhere in the world. The product is then sent to Tauranga to be formed into bars.
“I think the Good Green Stuff bar is a great example of the kind of world-beating products that Kiwis come up with in their own backyard”, says Geoff. We are proud to be bringing innovative New Zealand products to market.
